Calm Loop Privacy Policy

In short

Calm Loop has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your mixes, settings and recordings stay on your device. We do not receive any of it.

Data we collect

None. Calm Loop does not collect personal data and does not send anything to us. There is no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics or crash reporting service, and no tracking across other apps or websites.

What stays on your device

The app saves a few things on your device so it can remember them:

• your settings, favourite sounds, saved mixes, and sleep timer and reminder settings
• whether you have unlocked Calm Loop Pro
• sounds you record yourself (see below)

This data never leaves your device through the app. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Microphone and your recordings

Calm Loop asks for microphone access only when you tap record to capture a sound of your own and loop it in a mix. The recording is saved inside the app on your device and is never uploaded. You can delete it in the app at any time.

Sleep recording (Android only)

On Android you can start a sleep recording, which records while you sleep. It is kept on your device only and deleted automatically after 7 days. Sleep recording is not available on iPhone or iPad.

Backups

On Android, your recordings and purchase records are left out of the system backup; settings and mixes can be part of your Google backup if you have it turned on. On iPhone and iPad, the app's data, including recordings, can be part of your own iCloud or computer backup if you have backups turned on. Those backups belong to your Apple or Google account and we cannot see them.

Reminders and notifications

Bedtime reminders are scheduled on your device as local notifications. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn a reminder on. On Android, a notification also shows while sound is playing or a recording is running, as the system requires. No notification passes through our servers.

Purchases

Calm Loop Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. The app checks your purchase on your device with the store's own tools. Apple's and Google's privacy policies cover the data they process.

Internet use

Every sound, story and music track is included in the app, so Calm Loop plays without an internet connection. The app goes online only through services of your device's store or system:

• buying or restoring Calm Loop Pro, and the store's rating prompt (Apple or Google)
• on Android, Google Cast, if you choose to play on a Cast speaker (provided by Google Play services)
• links you tap, such as this policy, which open in your web browser

The app checks whether your device is online, but sends no data to us or to anyone else.

Children

Calm Loop does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Your choices

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. You can delete recordings and mixes in the app, turn off microphone or notification access in your device settings, or delete the app to remove everything it stored.
