Fridge Door Privacy Policy

How Fridge Door handles your data on iPhone and iPad.

In short

Fridge Door has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your child's drawings, pictures, storybooks and settings are saved on your device. We never see your child's drawings.

Data we collect

None. Fridge Door does not collect personal data and does not send anything to us. There is no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics or crash reporting service, and no tracking across other apps or websites.

What stays on your device

The app saves a few things on your device so it can remember them:

  • the drawings, scans, magic pictures, storybooks and prints made in the app
  • your settings, including grown-up mode
  • whether you have unlocked Premium, and how many free magic pictures are left

This data stays on your device. The one exception is picture magic on iOS 27 and later (see Internet use). Deleting the app removes the drawings, pictures and settings.

Camera and photos

Fridge Door asks for camera access only when you scan a paper drawing, and for photo access when you pick a photo of a drawing or save a picture to your photo library. Scans and photos are saved inside the app on your device. You can delete them in the app at any time.

Backups

On iPhone and iPad, the app's data, including drawings, can be part of your own iCloud or computer backup if you have backups turned on. Those backups belong to your Apple account and we cannot see them.

Purchases

Fridge Door Premium is a one-time purchase handled by Apple (App Store), and buying it is behind a grown-up check. We never see your payment details. The app checks your purchase on your device with Apple's own tools. Apple's privacy policy covers the data it processes.

Internet use

Drawing, scanning and storybooks work without an internet connection. The app goes online only through services of your device's store or system:

  • buying or restoring Premium (behind a grown-up check), and Apple's rating prompt
  • picture magic, which uses Apple Intelligence. On iOS 27 and later, Apple makes the picture on its Private Cloud Compute servers, so the drawing is sent to Apple for that one picture. Apple states that this data is not stored or shared

We never see your child's drawings, and the app sends no data to us.

Children

Fridge Door is made for children. It does not collect personal data from anyone, including children: there is no account, no ads, no tracking and no chat or social features. Purchases and settings are behind a grown-up check. A grown-up can turn the check off on their own device with grown-up mode.

Your choices

Since we hold no data about you or your child, there is nothing for us to export or delete. You can delete drawings and pictures in the app, turn off camera or photo access in your device settings, or delete the app to remove the drawings, pictures and settings it stored.
