Lexico Privacy Policy

In short

Lexico has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress and settings stay on your device. We do not receive any of it.

Data we collect

None. Lexico does not collect personal data and does not send anything to us. There is no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics or crash reporting service, and no tracking across other apps or websites.

What stays on your device

The app saves a few things on your device so it can remember them:

• your progress, solved puzzles and settings, including your daily reminder time
• which language packs you have unlocked
• a copy of your progress in your device's keychain, so it comes back if you reinstall the app (it is not synced to iCloud Keychain)

This data never leaves your device through the app. Deleting the app removes it, except the progress copy in the keychain.

Backups

On iPhone and iPad, the app's data can be part of your own iCloud or computer backup if you have backups turned on. Those backups belong to your Apple account and we cannot see them.

Reminders and notifications

The daily reminder is scheduled on your device as a local notification. The app asks for notification permission only when you agree to the reminder. No notification passes through our servers.

Purchases

Language packs in Lexico are one-time purchases handled by Apple (App Store). We never see your payment details. The app checks your purchase on your device with Apple's own tools. Apple's privacy policy covers the data it processes.

Internet use

Every puzzle is included in the app, so Lexico plays without an internet connection. The app goes online only through services of your device's store or system:

• buying or restoring language packs, and the store's rating prompt (Apple)
• links you tap, such as our contact page, which open in your web browser

The app sends no data to us or to anyone else.

Children

Lexico does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Your choices

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. You can turn off notification access in your device settings, or delete the app to remove what it stored (the progress copy in the keychain stays on the device).
