Minuted Privacy Policy

In short

Minuted has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your recordings, transcripts, summaries and settings stay on your device. We do not receive any of it.

Data we collect

None. Minuted does not collect personal data and does not send anything to us. There is no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics or crash reporting service, and no tracking across other apps or websites.

What stays on your device

The app saves a few things on your device so it can remember them:

• your meetings: recordings, transcripts, summaries and the photos you add (see below)
• voice profiles of the speakers you name, so Minuted recognizes them in future meetings
• your settings, and whether you have an active subscription

This data never leaves your device through the app. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Microphone, calendar and camera

Minuted asks for microphone access when you record a meeting. The recording is saved inside the app on your device and is never uploaded. You can delete it in the app at any time. With your permission, Minuted also reads your calendar to show your meetings and their attendees, adds the action items you choose to Reminders (Apple may sync them to your other devices through iCloud), and uses the camera for photos of whiteboards and slides you add to a meeting.

Backups

On iPhone and iPad, the app's data, including recordings, can be part of your own iCloud or computer backup if you have backups turned on. Those backups belong to your Apple account and we cannot see them.

Reminders and notifications

If you start a free trial, Minuted can remind you before it ends, with a local notification scheduled on your device. No notification passes through our servers.

Purchases

Minuted is a subscription handled by Apple (App Store). We never see your payment details. The app checks your subscription on your device with Apple's own tools. Apple's privacy policy covers the data it processes.

Internet use

Minuted records, transcribes and summarizes your meetings on your device. The app goes online only through services of your device's store or system:

• buying or restoring your subscription, and the store's rating prompt (Apple)
• Apple's speech recognition files, which your device may download from Apple when transcription first needs them
• links you tap, such as this policy, which open in your web browser

No audio, transcript or summary is sent to us or to anyone else.

Children

Minuted does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Your choices

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. You can delete meetings in the app, turn off microphone, calendar, reminders, camera or notification access in your device settings, or delete the app to remove everything it stored.
